http://www.hippocampus.org/ This website is an "Open Educational Resource"--meaning it's free to use.  The site "offers multimedia lessons and course materials" for science, math, and social sciences.  If you set up your own account you can customize it for your students.  Math subjects included are Algebra, Calculus (English and Spanish), and Statistics.  This site, authored by Monterey Institute for Technology and Education, was forwarded from the US Dept. of Education through the Kansas Math Consultant, Sid Cooley. http://www.coolmath.com/ Try this site for students struggling with those difficult concepts found on the KS Math Assessment, or any concept they may have difficulty with.  Concepts are explained in simple to understand steps in the Lessons area then students can practice in the Crunchers area and will be provided with instant feedback. Thanks to Tami Simkins for coming up with this powerful tool that will generate as many custom worksheets and tests as you need.  With this software you can individualize every test and or assignment for each student!  You'll never be dependent upon just your textbook and its limited resources again.

Educational software company DreamBox Learning is offering free digital math resources for kindergarten through second-grade teachers to use in their classrooms. These “DreamBox Teacher Tools” include a variety of lessons using virtual manipulatives, as well as resources to support teachers as they use the online toolkit. The virtual manipulatives are web-based tools that help students more easily grasp math concepts in visual terms, and research shows they are effective,
